The term “content marketing” has been around a long time, but sometime between the years 2011 and 2012 the term started to really buzz—and its popularity continues to increase.

According to the Content Marketing Institute, 91% of B2B marketers are using content marketing—but the percentage of businesses doing well are not as high.
